#:(#personal#I was looking at old academic records and found some classwork of mine and it said “America is invading Afghanistan for [Fill in the blank]#the answer they wanted was because there are WMDs in Afghanistan and Iraq. The scale the test was graded on was#2#3 or 4 and a 3 was “can be a good democratic and productive citizen”. 1 implied you're worthless. 4 just said “Exemplary” or something.#That for suuure wasn't an omen of things to come. Idk where I'm going with this. Anyway. There were no WMDs and we fought and lost two 20#year wars#Those were weird times cause the nation was changing drastically#ultimately for the worse in so so many ways. But also things were still “good” rent was affordable. Alone my sister could afford rent for a#one bedroom apartment#walking distance from the center of town while working as a barista and later as a waitress. It was easier to get jobs.
